Anjali Lavania signs her next
Rajasekhar is all set to act in a new film titled Geddam Gang. The film is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Soodhu Kavvum.
Starring Vijay Sethupathy and Sanchita Shetty in the lead roles, Soodhu Kavvum has become one of the biggest hits of 2013. The Telugu version will be directed by Saravanan's prot'g' P Santosh while Jeevitha is producing it.
Anjali Lavania who was last seen in Panjaa is paired opposite Rajasekhar in this comic-thriller. Speaking on the occasion Jeevitha says,' We acquired the remake rights of the film a month ago. The audience will get to see a different Rajasekhar in this film and I'm hoping that Geddam Gang will create a new trend in the thriller genre in Tollywood.
We have made a few changes to the script to suit the sensibilities of the local audience. Anjali Lavania has been roped in as the female lead.' Geddam Gang is all about an amateur gang of kidnappers. The principal shooting of the film will begin in May.
