Nag pleased with Manam Akkineni family starrer, Manam is all set for a grand release on May 23 and Nagarjuna in a media interaction has expressed his satisfaction with the way, Manam has shaped up. 'When we made the decision to make a movie with all of us in it, we had listened to a lot of scripts. But none of them were up to the stature expected of the project.
But Vikram came up with a dream script. Once he narrated the story to us, we realized that it was exactly what we were looking for,' said Nagarjuna.
Vikram Kumar had earlier directed Ishq which was a box-office success and resurrected the career of actor Nithiin. This factor might have worked in his favor.
The trailer of Manam has already received a great response on the film and Nagarjuna is gung ho on the performance of the film at the box-office.
'This is the last film of my father and Telugu people will definitely not miss out on the chance to see him on the silver screen for one last time. Manam is a fitting tribute to my father.'
