Sirish get accolades for his performance
When a successful director teams up with a hero from a big film family, there are naturally bound to be expectations from the project.
Kotha Janta was one such project. Directed by Maruthi, 'king of small cinema', the movie featured Allu Sirish as hero who had a disappointing debut with Gauravam.
Everybody assumed that Maruthi was doing the career of Sirish by taking him as a hero. However, the release of Kotha Janta has completely changed the perceptions of the public.
The movie has failed at the box-office, but Sirish's performance has come in for appreciation from the critics. Sirish did a very good job surprised critics who didn't expect much from him after Gauravam.
The fault for the debacle of the movie now has to be borne by the director, Maruthi, say the critics.
