Charmi blames director
It is known that Charmi is working for a new film Mantra 2. The film is the sequel to her 2007's hit film Mantra. The film has been in the making for a long time and since the film is a thriller, director of the film SV Suresh is filming the scenes only in the nights.
It seems this is troubling Charmi and the actress vented her frustration over her social networking page that the night shoots are disturbing her sleeping habits.
Further she requested her fans to inform the director to lessen shooting in nights. However, industry sources claim that it's a mere publicity stunt by the actress to complain on the shooting schedule since the film is in the making for a long time.
'An actor is being paid for what he or she is doing. He or she agrees to the terms and conditions before signing the dotted line. So, they should not complain on whether it is shooting in the sun or in the night, if they still do so they are called unprofessional.
Here, in this case I think Charmi is trying hard to promote her film in this way. That's of poor taste,' claims a director on the condition of anonymity.
'Well, if Charmi is really facing any problem she should complain in producers' council or MAA or in the director's association. What's the use if she vents out her frustration in social media,' quips the director.
