Maaya is Neelakanta's dream project
'This is my dream project. I had written the script of Maaya even before Show. This is a movie on extra sensory perception. I have prepared the script after a lot of research.
The hero plays the role of a fashion designer. What happens when we can see the future beforehand? That is the crux of the story.
I am grateful to the entire team of Maaya for their support,' said director Neelakanta at the 'First Look' launch of his film, Maaya.
Starring Harshavardhan Rane, Avantika, Sushma and Nandini Rai in the lead roles, the movie is produced by Madhura Sridhar and MVK Reddy.
Neelakanta is a director who brought laurels to Tollywood by making a 'National Award' winning film like Show. 'I am very confident on Maaya. In the eighty years history of Tollywood, Maaya will carve a niche for itself as a superb thriller,' said Madhura Sridhar.
Shekhar Chandra has given the music for Maaya which has cinematography by Balreddy. Anitha Chowdary, Jhansi, Nagendra Babu and Venu are playing other prominent roles in the movie.
