Puri and Vamsi combo for NTR
NTR Jr is currently shooting for his upcoming film Rabhasa under the direction of 'Kandireega' fame Santosh Srinivas. The actor will soon start his new film with maverick director Puri Jagannath. The film tentatively titled as Kummestha and it will hit the floors from May 20.
NTR and Puri worked for Andhrawala nearly a decade ago and the film was a disaster. Since their facing debacle with their first venture, it is said they have been carrying a great lust for major hit in their combination.
Now the combo is taking utmost care to score a hit and working hard on the script. As per our sources, Jr NTR roped in Vakkantham Vamsi to pen story and screenplay for the film. This would be the first time, Puri handling others script.
In his career spanning over 10 years, Puri Jagannadh have always directed his own stories. But, the cautious Jr NTR rejected Puri's stories couple of times and reportedly suggested to work on Vamsi story. Vamsi recently scored success with Race Gurram movie and almost all his stories are revenge dramas.
Bandla Ganesh, who has delivered a super hit like 'Baadshah' with NTR, will be producing this film under Parameswara Arts banner. Cast and crew is yet to be finalized and the producer is planning to have a grand launch for this film on May 20, 2014.
The entire cast is decided through this one month time. So, let's see whether Puri Jagannath will give him a block buster or not with his second time shake hands.
