'Manam' clears censor hurdle This is the last chance to see our beloved legendary actor ANR on the silver screen. Akkineni Family multi-starer film, Manam completed its censor formalities yesterday. The regional censor board which scrutinized the film awarded it with U/A certificate and with minor cuts.
Although the makers wishes to acquire a clean 'U', censor Members denied it just because there were few double meaning dialogues and few 'Drinking' scenes in the 'Piyo Piyo Re''.
ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are acting as grand father, father and son roles in this movie and it is being directed by Vikram Kumar, who recently tasted a hit with 'Ishq'.
Shriya and Samantha are the heroines in this film reportedly based on the theme of reincarnation. Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be playing a little cameo.
The film has been carrying high expectations ever since its announcement and the recent success of music by Anup Rubens, has taken it further up. All the trailers, promos and songs were innovative and pleasing enough for the fans to keep them waiting. Will it satisfy those expectations and give much needed break to the Akkineni family is to be seen?
