Rana Daggubati in 2 States remake
Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer '2 States' has entered 100 crore club recently and now the makers have more reasons to smile as they sold the remake rights for a huge price.
According to the latest news being heard, the film is now going to be made in Telugu and Tamil also. Sources say that well known producer PVP acquired the rights.
The grapevine is abuzz with news that the film will be remade in Telugu with handsome hunk Daggubati Rana. 2 States is a 2014 romantic comedy film directed by Abhishek Verman based on the 2009 novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat.
Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's chemistry worked like magic and every section of audience are enjoying the movie. Significant alterations would have to be made to the original script. With so much re-writing required, there is every chance that the essence of the original film might be lost.
Well, Aashiqui-2 Telugu remake is already in the making under the production of Bandla Ganesh and direction of Bumper Offer fame Jaya Ravindra. So, 2 States might also see the light very shortly.
