Vikram Kumar's next with Charan?
Vikram Kumar made his debut as a director with Ishtam. The film tanked at the box-office and he was gone off the radar for a few years. He resumed his directorial stint with the film 13B which won him laurels for its unique storyline and narration.
He later followed it up with Manam featuring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles. The success of Manam has made him the most demanding director in Tollywood.
Right from Superstars to budding heroes, everyone is raving about Vikram and dreaming big to work in his direction. Initially, Vikram has approached Ram Charan with the subject of Manam and waited for the response of the actor for a few months before settling down to direct the Akkineni heroes.
Now, with the success of Manam, it is learnt that Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan got back in touch with the director and chances are high that Vikram might direct a film featuring Charan in the lead role. If this project falls in place, then it would be a big relief for Charan who is trying to come out of doing typecast roles.
