Manam to break AD records
Akkineni family's magnum opus Manam is fast turning out to be a money-spinner at the ticket window. And the case is no different in overseas. Reports say the film has smashed all previous records of box office collections and is racing towars setting new benchmarks in USA. This has been turning the heads of millions of film lovers and industry on a whole.
Telugu People of US gets an extended weekend due to Memorial day holiday on Monday and as a result the movie made merry on first four days of its release.
The tremendous amount of positive talk and too good reviews helped the film immensely at the box office there. With its appreciation and increasing viewer appetite in global markets in USA alone, box-office reported $ 1,015,495 [Rs 5.98 crores] from 103 screens for 4 days (including premieres). More screens yet to be reported.
'AD' stood as the top grosser in US, SVSC follows as second and Dookudu as the third highest grosser. Race Gurram that was released recently stood at top 4th place. It remains to be seen if Manam will overcome all the four challenges and go to top or at least become the top 5th grosser!
