Race Gurram gallops 50 day mark
It is celebration time for Allu Arjun's fans. The actor's latest release "Race Gurram" finished 50-day theatrical run at the box office. The film hit the screens on 11 April and turned out to be the biggest hit of 2014 (so far).
'Race Gurram' has completed its 50 Days run in 158 direct centers. So far, the action comedy entertainer has collected around 56 Cr worldwide and turned as the best movie in Allu Arjun's career.
This is a wonderful feat these days because star-heroes' movies are highly dependent on first weekend openings rather than steady run.Many theatres used to screen hit flicks only their 50th or 100th day, but in the case of 'Race Gurram' all the 158 centres are playing the movie from the release date, April 11, 2014 without interruption.
Despite several new releases, the Surender Reddy directorial managed to successfully hold on to a few theatres as a result of good response from the audience. The action comedy entertainer has received positive feedback in India as well as abroad.The movie has been directed by Surender Reddy and it has turned out to be one of the most commercially successful Telugu films ever made.
Allu Arjun and Shruthi Haasan are the lead actors in this movie and Saloni played a cameo along with Kick Shyam. The film was produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and Thaman composed the music.
Arjun's energetic performance, style, dances and fights, Shruthi's glamour, Thaman's melody mixed mass tunes, Brahmi's powerful comedy during last 20 minutes of the movies, Surender Reddy's sensible narration and other cast and crew's dedicated efforts made the movie achieving this result
Apart from local areas like AP, Karnataka, Kerala, the film performed extremely superb in overseas as well, it is at top 4 among Tollywood Top 10 grossers of USA. "Race Gurram" is the second film of the year to cross $1 million mark in overseas after ŕ Nenokkadine."
