Allu Arjun as Gona Ganna Reddy
The search of director Gunashekar comes to an end. Stylish Star Allu Arjun is playing Gona Ganna Reddy in director Gunasekhar's dream project 'Rudramadevi'.
Guna addressed the media today and revealed that Allu Arjun is Gona Ganna Reddy in his film and said that Bunny's presence is a value addition to the project.
Gona Ganna Reddy is a well known character for Telugu audience. The project was in rumour mills for several years with actors like Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Junior NTR in contention.
In fact, Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja and Jr NTR were considered for the role, however Bunny is finalized to essay the epic character.
The movie is said to be India's historical stereoscopic 3D film in which Anushka will play the title role while Rana will play the role of Chalukya Veerabhadrudu, the prince of Nidavardhyapuram (Present Nidadavole).
A reliable source says that, Catherine will be seen as Gona Ganna Reddy's love interest in the film. Other cast of the movie includes Ramya Krishna, Baba Sehgal, Adivi Sesh, Nathalia Kaur, Zara Shah, Hamsa Nandini, Brahmanandam and Tanikella Bharani.
Allu Arjun is riding high with Race Gurram success will next work with Trivikram Srinivas, apart from reprising the Gona Ganna Reddy role in Rudramadevi. Bunny is always on the fore front for calculated experimentation!
And with the rapport he shares with Gunasekhar, Rudramadevi is going to become the most exciting film one can wait to watch on the Telugu celluloid. Good selection by Bunny.
