Shriya in OMG Telugu remake Call it the 'Manam' effect, actress Shriya Saran seems to have gained that lost foothold in T-town again. Or at least that's the indication now. As per the reliable sources, Shriya is considered as a female lead for the remake of Bollywood super hit film 'Oh My God'.
She will be pairing opposite Victory Venkatesh and makers have made few changes in script to give actress enough screen space. After considered few names like Anjali, Radhika Apte and Sneha makers have finally zeroed out Shriya who made the audience sit-up with her surprising performance in 'Manam', for the role. Shriya earlier paired with Venky for Subash Chandra bose movie which was released a decade ago.
The film remake of Hindi hit Oh My God is going on floors from June second week. Venkatesh plays the antique dealer who files a lawsuit against God ' the role essayed by Paresh Rawal in the Hindi version of the movie which released in 2012. Other side Pawan Kalyan is essaying Lord Krishna.
Shreya name is also considered to play one of the actresses in Balakrishna's next film tentatively titled 'Godse' to be directed by debutant Satya Deva. Apart from these, Shriya has been approached for other big films.
Dolly of Tadakha fame will direct the movie on Suresh Productions Banner. Suresh Babu and Sharath Marar are jointly producing it under Suresh Productions and North Star Entertainments banners.Watch out this space for more updates'!
