Sudheer clarifies on Mahesh Babu role
Prince Mahesh who is busy shooting for Aagadu is getting ready to star under Mirchi director Koratala Shiva's direction. In an interesting development it is rumored that Mahesh Babu will play the role of Badminton star and coach Pullela Gopichand. The reports went on saying that Mahesh B-I-L and hero Sudheer will produce the movie.
However Sudheer Babu condemns the reports of Superstar playing the lead in the biopic of Badminton champion Pullela Gopichand. Sudheer Babu clarified that, neither he is producing the movie nor Mahesh Babu will portray Gopichand.
However, The good news for all the sports lovers is that Sudheer Babu didn't deny that a feature film based on Pullela Gopichand's life is currently in the pre-production stage..
When fans queried about Mahesh over twitter he reacted, 'Mahesh doing as Pullela Gopi isn't true and I am not producing it either. However I and Praveen Sattaru want to do a film on Gopi's life and I will be playing as Gopi. As of now not sure when this will go on floor.'
We know that, Sudheer Babu is basically a badminton player and is a good friend of ace shutler Gopichand.He even played alongside Pullela Gopichand at one stage. So, Sudheer is the right choice to play onscreen Gopichand as he was the one who watched the badminton great from very close.
Sudheer scored his first success with Maruthi directed 'Prema Katha Chitram' and he is presently working for a romantic entertainer 'Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini' is a remake of Kannada hit 'Charminar'.
