Mithun in Pawan's film Oh My God Telugu remake with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh playing lead roles is all set to go on floors from 9 th of this month. Suresh Babu and Sharath Marar are jointly producing the venture and as per reliable sources Bollywood versatile Actor Mithun Chakraborty is all set to make his Tollywood debut with this movie.
Mithun Chakraborty who played cunning godman in the original is approached to play the same role in Telugu too. He is cast in the role of God man Leeladhar Swamy in the film which he played in the original. In fact, Rajendra Prasad was first choice for godman role but makers opted to Mithun for the reasons best known to them.
Pawan Kalyan will reprise Lord Krishna done by Akshay Kumar while Venkatesh essays a middle class shop owner character owned by Paresh Rawal. Buzz is Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Tamanna Bhatia are going to dance on special number which is said to be major highlight of flick.
Oh My God storyline is based on a Gujarati stage play entitled Kanji Virudh Kanji. The movie won critical accolades and was also a commercial success in Hindi. Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan are willing to work together since long time and finally their desire got fulfilled.
Thadaka fame Dolly will be wielding megaphone for this project. Pawan Kalyan's friend, Sharath Marar on his North Star Entertainments and Suresh Babu on his Suresh Productions Banner are jointly producing the movie. Anup Rubens will be composing the music.
