Mahesh sets new record
Mahesh Babu's upcoming film Aagadu is very much in the news ever since its inception for various reasons. The latest to be heard about the film is that the satellite rights of Aagadu were snapped by a leading regional channel for `9.75 crore.
This is by far one of the best deals for a film in Tollywood. Just like his box-office records, Mahesh's satellite records have been trailblazing.
Sources say Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta ' the producers of the film - have signed the deal of `16 crore with the television channel as a package with their other production Legend which fetched `6.75 crore.
Directed by Srinu Vaitla the film will see Mahesh Babu as a cop and Tamannaah as a social activist who also runs a sweet house. The film is slated for release on September 19. SS Thaman is scoring the music.
