Director threatens to take revenge on Anjali Seems like, Telugu Heroine Anjali problems may not be solved shortly. After starring in films like Masala, Balupu in Tollywood and couple of films in Kannada, heroine Anjali is considering returning back to the Tamil films starring opposite Jayam Ravi. However this triggered controversy as director Kalanjiyam warned of legal action.
It is known that Anjali and Kalanjiyam haven't been good terms with each other and the issue between them running in court from one year. The actress refused to shoot for his Tamil film 'Oor Suttri Puranam' accusing the filmmaker of joining hands with her step mom who harassed her.
However, when the news broke about her Tamil comeback film, the Tamil director Kalanjiyam is also back and making threatening statements. The director stated that if Anjali wants to act in Tamil films, she will first have to complete his film or otherwise he will have to proceed legally.
He said "Anjali shot only for 12 days for my film and after that, disappeared. I have been facing financial losses only because of her as I am producing the film. My debts run close to one crore and I am unable to compensate or face my financiers.
Now, I hear she might be working on a Tamil film and a Kannada film. She cannot act in other films without completing my film. If she does so, I will have to handle this issue legally."
He even advised the actress to learn professionalism from Nayantara who is acting with her former boyfriend Simbhu respecting the script. He said "Look at Nayanthara. The world knows about the Simbu-Nayanthara controversy.
However, she is now working with Simbu again, respecting a script. Anjali should learn this kind of professionalism from Nayanthara''.
The talented actress seems to have taken him easy on this comment and said that she has completed her Telugu films now and is open to act in Tamil movies, and no one has the right to decide what she should be doing.
Few months back Director Kalanjiyam has filed a defamation case against Anjali for making misleading statements against him. Anjali has made some statements earlier saying director Kalanjiyam and Bharathi Devi pose a danger to her life.
