Amala engaged with Director Vijay
Finally, the most endearing and talked about couple of the year are engaged.They are none other than heroine Amalapaul and ace filmmaker Vijay. Amala Paul Saturday got engaged to Tamil film director A.L. Vijay at a church in Aluva near here.
Amala Paul remained the prime attraction among guest by sporting custom-made white wedding gown. Director Vijay donned a suit.
The ring-exchange ceremony was graced by their close friends and family members. Director Lal Jose, who introduced Amala Paul into the film industry in 2009 in the film "Neelathamara", and several of her colleagues from the industry, were present at the ring ceremony.
The wedding will be held June 12 in Chennai.They will tie the knot as per the Hindu customs and it is followed by a grand reception
Amala and Vijay duo fell in love on the sets of the latter's film "Deiva Thirumagal" (Nanna in telugu) and they have been dating ever since.
Though Amala began her career in the Malayalam film industry, the 22-year-old actress has carved a name for herself also in Tamil and Telugu films.
She acted in some of big films in telugu and shared screen with big heroes like Charan and Allu Arjun. Recently she was signed for Telugu film, Vastha Nee Venuka.
However the makers are now planning to sign another heroine for the film. Her last Telugu film will be Nani-starrer Janda Pai Kapiraju which will hit the screens soon.
Recently in her wedding invitation, Amala has urged her invitees to donate to a charity organisation called Ability Foundation, instead of bringing gifts to her and the groom.
Sources close to the actress said she will complete all her pending projects and then decide on her future as an actress.Well, on this auspicious eve, we wish them a Happy Married Life In Advance.
