Prabhas and Lakshmi mourn students death
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh shook with shock hearing about the VNR college students swept away in flash floods of Beas river in Himachal Pradesh. The tragic incident of Telugu students falling prey for the turbulent flow of dam water has shocked the nation.
Expressing his grief over the shocking incident Tollywood hunk Prabhas took to his twitter handle. 'This is very sad to hear about the tragedy struck to our Hyderabad students. My prayers are with the families of all these students who lost their lives in Himachal Pradesh,' Prabhas tweeted.
Along with Prabhas Lakshmi Manchu was the only other noted celeb to react on this tragedy. "Oh dear. What terrible news of the engineering students in river accident. My heart goes out to the family and friends of these victims," she said, an hour ago.
Meanwhile, parents and relatives of students were taken to Delhi by the Telangana government by an Air India flight.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu too reviewed the situation with the officials and ministers. He directed one of his ministers Narayana to look after providing help to parents of the students. Five bodies of students have so far been found while the fate of 19 others still unknown.
