Anushka again in prostitute role
Playing a prostitute role for any actor was a taboo in the past. The trend has changed; even top actresses are not shying away in donning the prostitute roles.
In the past, Anushka (in Vedam) gave an amazing performance and later it was followed by Charmee (in Prema Oka Maikam), Shriya (in Pavithra) and Hari Priya (in Abbayi Class Ammayi Mass).
Those starlets who take up this role need to work hard as it not only performance driven but it also requires a huge amount of sex appeal and glamour to fit the character. Now, it is heard that top league heroine has become a prostitute and that too for four states. She is none other than our sweety Anushka.
Well, the awesome beauty was seen in the role of a prostitute in the film 'Vedam' which got good critical acclaim. Later, she reprised the same role in the Tamil version 'Vaanam' and scored accolades. Now our Bommali is donning the role for remake of Bollywood 'Queen' movie.
Bollywood's recent blockbuster Kangana starrer 'Queen' is getting remade to Telugu besides Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada! Kollywood filmmaker Tyagarajan (hero Prashanth's father) had bought the remake rights and it is heard that Anushka's name is being considered to do the lead role.
Makers were keen on roping Anushka as she has enormous experience of carrying off such roles with much ease and 'lan. We need to see how hard Anushka will sizzle this time. Right now she has her foot in some of the most prestigious projects such as Baahubali, Rudramadevi.
