Krishnam Raju as Anushka's father
Film maker Gunasekhar's prestigious project of Rudrama Devi will have Anushka playing the historical figure of Rani Rudramma. The highly anticipated flick yet again surfaced to headlines but this time with the news of unusual combination.
It's known that Rebel star Krishnam raju is playing important role in the film and according to sources he will be seen as Anushka Shetty's father in magnum opus Ruhramdevi. While Anushka plays title role Rudramdevi, Krishnam Raju essays the role of Ganapathideva, father of Rudramadevi
Rudramadevi is a 3D film being made on Rs 45 crore budget and it is the first Indian historical film made in stereoscopic 3D format. Being a tech savvy, Gunasekhar is sure to make the audience mesmerize with his presentation on screen.
Anushka practiced martial arts, gone through several historical literary sources to analyze the socio economic cultural background of Kakatiya dynasty and also the valor of Rudramma. World class top technicians working on the project.
Rana Daggubati is male lead and Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Baba Sehgal, Suman, Catherine Tresa and Hamsa Nandini will be seen in supporting roles. Allu Arjun will appear in Gona Ganna Reddy role. The film's soundtracks are composed by Ilaiyaraaja and the art direction is handled by Thota Tharani. Rudrama Devi is likely to release for dussehra.
