NTR heroine turns a comedian's sister
Remember dusky babe Karthika, daughter of yesteryear actress, Radha? The leggy lass who made her debut with Naga Chaitanya's Josh and went on to appear in NTR starrer Dhammu. She is somehow managed to get attention with her spicy commercial acts in Dammu movie.
Despite coming from a good background, the beauty did not manage to make a mark on Telugu audience. Movie chances are not coming easily in her way and those which came are not getting her good marks from audience and critics.
Now the tall beauty surprised one and all with her bold decision. Karthika has agreed to play Allari Naresh's sister in his upcoming film directed by Chinni Krishna.
Reason for Karthika accepting the role is, it will have all the shades and she will be seen performing dare devil stunts. The film being produced by Ammi Raju is said to be a hilarious entertainer and Karthika will appear as hero's sister who falls in love with the villain.
Earlier many directors approached Karthika for being female lead opposite Naresh but it was denied by her. She finally found the script interesting which made her wave a green signal but being a sister.
On the other side, Monnal Gajjar plays the role of heroine beside Allari Naresh. Playing this role will mean that Karthika will have no chances of getting heroine roles in near future.Maybe we have to say that Karthika is simply out of range for heroine roles.
