Autonagar Surya on June 27
The movie has had so many release dates announced in the past that the project is in danger of not being taken seriously anymore by the public.
However, the makers of Autonagar Surya are absolutely positive that they would be going ahead with the release of the movie this time on the 27th of this month. Starring Naga Chaithanya and Samantha in the lead roles, the movie has been languishing in the cans for a long time after the 'RR Movie Makers' ran into a financial crunch.
Nevertheless, expectations are high around the movie as it is directed by the talented Dev Katta, with successful films like Vennela and Prasthanam to his credit.
Set in the backdrop of Vijayawada, the movie is said to be a political thriller. Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Kumar will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.
Anoop Rubens composed the music for the film while Srikanth Naroj, known for his work in the 2011 film Hostel handled the Cinematography. Gautham Raju handled the editing Department. The success of Autonagar Surya will make it a hat-trick for the combo of Naga Chaithanya and Samantha after Ye Maaya Chesave and Manam.
