Samantha turns out to be lucky charm
Beleaguered Autonagar Surya is finally releasing on the 27th of this month and one factor that could well work in the favor of the movie is the leading lady of the film, Samantha.
To date, Samantha has done eleven films in Tollywood including Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, a dubbed movie and her success record is staggering.
Seven out of the ten movies, discounting the dubbed movie, have gone on to become blockbusters. Her latest movie, Manam is still going strong at the box-office and Samantha's performance in dual roles in the movie has come in for a high appreciation from one and all.
Against this backdrop, Autonagar Surya in which she is paired opposite Naga Chaithanya for the third time in her career would mark a hat-trick for the pair if the movie emerges successful.
While the ability of Naga Chaithanya to carry a film on his shoulders as a solo hero would be put to the test with Autonagar Surya, it is undoubtedly the presence of Samantha in the movie that can ironically give the career of Naga Chaithanya, a much- needed reprieve as a solo hero. Well we don't have much longer to find out!
