Mahesh delivers dud at Bollywood BO Super Star Mahesh Babu's big budgetary flick ONE-Nenokkadine which was released for Pongal in 2014 was dubbed in Hindi as 'Ek Ka Dum: 1′. Riwaz Duggal who got the dubbing rights of the film released a few days back under the RKD Studios banner. Many thought the movie will entertain the Hindi audience due to its novel plot.
Sadly the movie has seen the same fate it did in Telugu - it bombed at the Bollywood Box Office and was taken off some theaters before one week's time. According to trade analysts Ek Ka Dum 1 may not even recover dubbing costs let alone some profits.
But film critics appreciated main lead actor's performance. They also opined that it is difficult for this film to rake in moolah.Mahesh Babu himself promoted this film in Mumbai when he was shooting for Aagadu movie.
Made with a budget of above 40 crores the movie failed to reach Rs 30 crore mark worldwide for full run. The Sukumar directorial grossed 29.34 Crore worldwide and 20.29 crore in AP.
In spite of flop talk, audience and industry biggies praised Mahesh Babu for his stupendous performance as a psychological disorder patient. Meanwhile, the tall hunk is busy shooting for Srinu Vaitla directing comedy-action drama 'Aagadu' co-starring Tamanna Bhatia.14 Reels entertainment is producing the movie and SS Thaman is scoring music. Buzz is that, Tamanna is also essaying a police.
