Kamal, Maddy to dub for ANR, Nag
Akkineni three generation multi-starrer 'Manam' has become a big hit in the Tollywood and stood as the number one film in Nagarjuna career in both Overseas and local trade.
Now the latest news that we hear is that the makers of the film, that is Akkineni family is keen on releasing the dubbed version in Tamil as well.Nagarjuna is not interested on selling Manam movie remake rights to any producers so as not to spoil the original flavor.
According to sources legendary actor Kamal Haasan and Madhavan were approached to dub for the voices of ANR and Nagarjuna characters respectively. Kamal Hasan is one of the close associate to Akkineni kin.
Kamal had seen Manam last month and said how he was a big fan of ANR and how this film had brought back old memories. He holds the Akkineni patriarch in high esteem and remarked that ANR is his spiritual guru. He said that he has always been a great fan of ANR and he turned emotional seeing ANR on screen.
There is a good chance that Kamal could dub for Tamil version and the team is hoping for a positive response from Madhavan. Manam is still doing good business at the box-office and especially overseas it has minted gold.
The film produced by Nagarjuna himself collected around Rs 36 crores for 30 days. It is expected to do wonders in Tamil too. Kamal and Maddy contribution will certainly help the Tamil version.
