Shah Rukh's driver rapes heroine's maid
Bollywood's superstar Shah Rukh Khan's car driver has been arrested by the Bandra police for raping a minor of 17-years-old. The incident occurred at a hotel in Nalasopara, a suburban area in Mumbai.
The victim hailing from Latur district used to work as a maid at veteran actress Sangeeta Bijilaani who is the wife of an ex-cricketer Md. Azhaharuddin.
Rajendrakumar Gautam, the driver of SRK spotted the girl and later collected her phone number through a friend. The driver later lured her in the name of getting her a job at Shahrukh's house hold.
He said he could get her a good job, where she would get a high salary and work with a superstar. The girl and Gautam then started speaking to each other regularly and he even took her to Shah Rukh's bungalow once.
In the course of their conversations, Gautam convinced the survivor to quit her job, which she did on June 20. On the pretext of finding her an accommodation, he took her to a lodge in Nalasopara on Friday and sexually abused her. Later he threatened her with dire consequences if she revealed it to anybody, the officer said.
The accused suggested her to return to her hometown. However, she mustered courage and informed the matter to her friend, who helped her approaching Bandra police yesterday.Accused has been booked under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and will be produced before Bandra court today.
