Mahesh steals Powerstar's show
Kannada power star Puneet Rajkumar's 'Power' audio turned as mega-event with superstar Mahesh graced the function as the special guest. Mahesh Babu launched the audio of the film yesterday at Bellary amidst huge fanfare.
As we knew that Mahesh enjoying huge fan base at Karnataka and the same was observed yesterday.The presence of Right from the arrival of the star, Mahesh stole the thunder throughout the function.
He out focused Power star Puneet Rajkumar with his bright appearance. In fact at stage music director Thaman had to ask the fans present at the audio launch to cheer for Powerstar when the star himself was singing live. Mahesh Babu on the other hand was greeted with a loud response every time he made a small gesture.
Mahesh Babu speaking at the function recalled the time when he met Puneeth and his mother. He said that he couldn't believe how down to earth they were. The film is the remake of Mahesh's Telugu blockbuster Dookudu.
A couple of the producers involved in the film are also the same as that of the original. Hence, it became an easy job for the production house to convince Mahesh Babu to attend Power music release function.
We have to note that Mahesh Babu had told that he likes Puneet Rajkumar's movies during the release of Ninnindale.
Power,meanwhile, will be the Sandalwood debut of veteran heroine Trisha. Other side Mahesh Babu's upcoming flick 'Aagadu' is in the last leg of shooting. The makers of this film are shooting some key action scenes in Bellary. This schedule will continue till July 2.
As per latest reports, makers have decided to release the film on September 19 worldwide. Shruti Haasan will shake her leg in a special song in this film. Sonu Sood and Rajendra Prasad are playing the prominent roles. Tamannah is the female lead in the movie.
