Panchami, a lady-centric thriller A photographer ventures into a dangerous forest and loses her way. What happens next and how she finds her way out of the forest forms the crux of the thriller, Panchami which is gearing for a release on July 11.
Actress, Archana plays the main lead in the movie which is directed by debutant, Sujatha Bhowrya. Produced by D Srikanth, the movie has music by Koti. The interesting thing about the movie is that there would be only one character in the entire movie.
Suddala Ashok Teja is the lyricist for the movie. After the 1964 film, Yaadein, which featured no one but Sunil Dutt, Panchami is touted to be the only other Indian film with a solo character.
There were certain risky scenes in the movie which Archana apparently performed without taking support of a body-double. Dasari Gangadhar has given the story and dialogues to the movie which has cinematography by Raghavendra Ballari.
An experimental movie, with the majority of the technical team being youngsters, the movie is expected to herald a new experience for Telugu audiences.
