Yesterday we already reported about some area rights of the movie.The ceded and Karnataka rights of the movie were heard of being sold at record Rs 22 crores. While Karnataka rights fetched 9 crore, Ceded rights are obtained for 13 crore.
Now the latest we here is about Nizam rights of the movie. It has been purchased for a record price of Rs. 25 crores by Dil Raju, according to latest trade pundit reports. This is by far the highest figure for any movie in the history of Telugu cinema, as per industry sources.
Comapre to all other Mega Family heroes having huge fan base in Nizam area and all their movies used to collect good shares.Now the price of Baahubali is much bigger than any mega hero share in the area.
Bigger result than industry hit can only save Dil Raju. Dil Raju has slowed down his pace in making films; though he is not missing opportunity to distribute any star hero films in his kingdom. He recently bought Rabhasa Nizam rights for whopping Rs 12 crore.
Well, these news are only pumping new vigor in the fans and rising the expectations over the film. Bahubali first part is scheduled for April 17, 2015 release.
