Drishyam trailer fails to impress
Victory Venkatesh, who is on a remake spree, is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Drishyam. The film a remake of Malayalam blockbuster of the same name is directed by Sripriya.
After a brief hiatus, Meena is making a comeback as the leading lady with this film. Meanwhile, the trailer of this Venkatesh starrer that was released on Wednesday doesn't make an impression due to its poor editing and inferior visuals.
Although every dialogue and scene is imported from the original, the trailer fails to generate the required curiosity and hype. The Telugu version is releasing on July 11 without making buzz anywhere.
Compared to Venkatesh's previous films, the promotions of this remake are poor. While the Malayalam version is hailed as one of the best movies of this decade, it remains to be seen what could be the fate of this Telugu remake.
