Ram Charan lost 50 crore deal Earlier it was highly buzzed that Mega Power Star Ram Charan has signed up his second Bollywood film to be directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar and the film will be a big-budget extravaganza.
Ashutosh Gowariker who directed movies like Lagaaan, Swadesh and Jodha Akbar reportedly showed interest on Cherry for his historical adventure that is set in the backdrop of Mohenjodaro city, a key town during Indus Valley Civilization.
Ram Charan also informed that the film will hit the floors in October or November of 2014. Deepika Padukone is being considered for the leading lady role as per the sources buzz.
However later Cherry dropped the project to concentrate on Telugu films. Charan then accepted to work with Krishna Vamsi's family entertainer 'Govindudu Andari Vadele' is in making stages. Now according to Bollywood sources handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan has signed Ashutosh's film for 50 crore remuneration. It may be hard to believe, but Bollywood reports validate the news.
The film titled Mohenjo Daro will be produced by Ashutosh Gowariker and he is in hunt for big production houses to co-produce the high budget entertainer.
The actor in order to compensate for it has reportedly agreed to do this period film with Ashutosh Gowarikar with whom he had already teamed up successfully in the form of Jodha Akbar.
Though Hrithik Roshan is reluctant to do the film , he is immensely convinced by the way Asuthosh has narrated history and agreed to do this flick. Seems like Ram Charan's loss is Hrithik's gain and we have to see how the film shapes up.
Is this good luck for Ram Charan or for Hrithik Roshan, keeping in mind the subject and time that would be taken for the completion of the film? What do you think?
