Drishyam fails to ring box office bells
Contrary to trade expectations, the much-hyped Telugu movie Drishyam starring Victory Venkatesh and Meena in the lead has got a bad opening at the Box Office. The film has collected a below average share of Rs.1.64 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
These figures are disappointing for Venaktesh film and mouth talk should boost the collections in weekend. Below is the break up.

Producers believe that collection will pick up in coming days due to a positive mouth talk and they are reminding about how earlier movies of Venky connected to audience with the positive buzz.
Even though Venkatesh earlier acted in many remake films this time he felt challenging to step into the shoes of Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal for Drishyam Telugu version.
Though Venkatesh was not up to the mark of Mohanlal, the actor endowed his strengths in second half. Sripriya directed the Drishyam movie and jointly produced by Suresh Productions, Rajkumar Theatres Pvt Ltd and Wide Angle Creations.
