Drishyam satellite rights sold for 6 Cr
Venkatesh starrer Drishyam is giving good outcome for its makers. As expected, on the first day the opening was low but it seems the release strategy has worked out with the strong word of mouth coming into play. The movie collections picked up slowly and going steadily.
Now the latest we heard is that Satellite rights family-thriller sold for a whooping amount of 6 crores. A popular Telugu channel bagged the rights.
Drishyam is a kind of experiment both in terms of production cost and genre of the film. This has proved the fact that content based films would work at the box office if made on a low scale. It is a rare scenario in an industry like Tollywood to entertain the audience with family thriller, which is a new genre.
