Cathrine Tresa in Vishnu's next
Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao is all set to direct Vishnu Manchu in a new movie which happens to be the remake of Tamil film Manjapai. The regular shooting of this yet to be titled remake will begin from August last week and the latest news is that Catherine Tresa has been roped in to play the love interest of Vishnu in this film.
Catherine who is going through a lean patch with no hits, will be seen romancing Manchu scion for the first time in this comedy drama. Sources say besides direction, Dasari Narayana Rao will be seen portraying the role of Vishnu's grandfather in this film.
The makers are making arrangements to wrap up the shooting of the talkie part in a single uninterrupted schedule and release of the film for January 2015 on the occasion of Sankranthi. On the other hand, Vishnu is busy working for Ram Gopal Varma's untitled film and producing Current Theega starring Manchu Manoj and Rakul Preet Singh.
