Drishyam collections picked up
Victory Venkatesh's new movie of 'Drishyam' although released to positive reviews did not get huge shares at Box Office on the first day.
However, the film saw a big jump in collections on Saturday and Sunday due to positive reviews and word of mouth. As expected, 'Drishyam' picked up brilliantly for weekend and House Full boards are seen across the two states where in the movie is screening.
The family thriller has raked Rs 4.65 Crores for 3 days in AP and Rs 6.18 Crores worldwide. Suresh Babu is quite elated at the response and said that it's an encouragement to producers to indulge in experimental movies and explore new genres.
On a whole Drishyam collected around 6.1 crores share worldwide in its first weekend and it is expected to settle for around 15-20 Cr in its full run.
The thrill in the plot, performances of Venkatesh, Meena and co-actors are highlights of Drishyam and director Sripriya didn't deviate much from the original.
