Nikhil's biggest film in the making
The hit pair of Swami Ra Ra, Nikhil and Swathi is all set to entertain the audiences once again, courtesy their upcoming film, Karthikeya. Produced by debutant, Boggaram Venkata Srinivas, the movie is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Tamil.
Producer Srinivas expressed his happiness at the fact that his first foray into production is a bi-lingual and also exuded confidence that the movie would turn out to be a huge success in both languages. Chandu Mondeti also makes his debut as a director with Karthikeya. The re-recording of the movie is currently on.
'The movie is basically a thriller with a lot of entertainment. The audio of the movie has already received a tremendous response. We are completing all formalities in order to facilitate the release of the movie on August 1. This is the highest budgeted film of Nikhil in his career so far,' said director Chandu.
Tanikella Bharani, Raja Ravindra and Rao Ramesh are the other prominent artistes in the film. Karthik Ghattamaneni is the cinematographer of Karthikeya which has editing by Srinivas Karthik and music by Shekhar Chandra. Ram Jogayya Shastry, Vanamali and Krishna Chaithanya have written the lyrics for the movie.
