Neelakanta's next is Maaya
Director Neelakanta needs no introduction to Tollywood. The talented filmmaker endeared himself to audiences with his movies, Show, Missamma and Virodhi winning National and Nandi awards for his work along the way.
Neelakanta is now ready with his next movie, Maaya which promises to be a different film as well. The movie stars Harshavardhan Rane, Avantika, Sushma Raj and Nandini Rai in the lead roles and the film basically deals with the concept of extra-sensory perception (ESP).
The movie is jointly produced by MVK Reddy and Madhura Sridhar on the banner 'Shirdi Sai Combines'. Maaya boasts a different screenplay and is touted as a thriller.
'Audiences have always appreciated novel concepts. The story and screenplay of Maaya will definitely appeal to the audiences,' said Neelakanta. 'I am happy to be giving the Telugu people such a good film in the direction of Neelakanta.
The music of Shekhar Chandra, editing of Navin Nuli and cinematography by Balreddy will be an added asset to the movie.
We intend to complete the censor formalities soon and release the movie on August 1,' said Madhura Sridhar. Nagendra Babu, Anitha Chowdary and Venu are the other artistes in the movie.
