Why SHE is missing from Drishyam?
Amongst all the departments in movies, film direction is the toughest of all as it's the Director who needs to control the whole crew and it's he/she who receives all the blame if the movie is back fired.
Generally Heroines shift to character roles or TV serials once their prime is over. But, one lady seems to have aimed differently and decided to wield the megaphone. She is none other than Sri Priya who ruled the roost in Kollywood and Mollywood with her great sex appeal.
Sri Priya made successful debut with Drishyam a family thriller starring Venkatesh and Meena. The movie has been going strong at the box office in spite of rains at various places and especially growing fond with the family audiences. Buoyed with the response the total team of Drishyam is participating on promotional events of the film.
Interestingly, Director Sripriya is missing at promotional and other events related to Drishyam and she was hardly seen anywhere in the film related events. Many of the film lovers want to see the director and waiting to hear some words from the veteran actress.
It was the Sri Priya who bagged the remake rights of the film and approached Venkatesh with the proposal. Sripriya thought Drishyam would change her fate and has put all efforts in making a film comprising of all emotions. She got the fruitful results but, surprisingly she is not seen anywhere. Producer Suresh Babu might know the reason, what sir?
Sri Priya's first attempt as director in Telugu- Malini 22 is yet to see lights; however the Tamil version released this year was declared a flop. Hope she will made her presence soon in media and speak something about path breaking Drishyam'
