Sri Divya miffed with 50 lakhs rumors
Telugu actors who've struggled to find a footing in Tollywood, have gone on to taste success in Tamil and Malayalam film industries. We have seen likes of Anjali, Swathi Reddy and Bindu Madhavai who showed their mark in Kollywood. One more in the league is cute actress Sri Divya.
Sridivya made her debut in Tollywood with 'Manasaara' but the film didn't help her much. After struggling with offers in Telugu Sri Divya migrated to Tamil where she got her hands full with almost 7 films in her kitty.
She emerged as demi-goddess for the medium and small budget producers. Her traditional looks are doing magic for her in Kollywood. Recently rumors surfaced when makers of hero Karthi's latest movie sacked Sri Divya.
The buzz in the industry is that since Amala Paul has tied the knot and Nazriya is all set to get hitched soon, the demand for Sri Divya has gone up. The buzz is that the actress has hiked her price to 50 lakh.
Sri Divya is upset about the rumours and the actress rubbished the reports and said that there was absolutely no truth in them. She feels sad that someone wants to throw mud on her growing popularity. She also added that she is a professional and that she wouldn't create trouble to her filmmakers.
Well, these things are very common in glamour industry and one has to be really careful about what is being written on them. While Sri Divya is "glad about the way her Tamil cinema career is shaping up," she is hopeful that "her time will come" in Tollywood.
