Shruti opposite Vijay
Shruti Haasan running high on the super success of Race Gurram has reportedly signed another big flick opposite Tamil super star Vijay. Shruti is currently doing a special song in Mahesh Babu's Aagadu and Bollywood project Gabbar opposite Akshay Kumar.
Incidentally, Gabbar is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Ramana which was remade successfully in Telugu as Tagore, and is directed by Krishh of Gamyam, Vedam and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum fame.
Tamil director Simbu Devan is planning a project in association with hero Vijay. Apparently, Simbu Devan felt that Shruti Haasan would be an apt choice as heroine for the project and Vijay acquiesced to the decision as well.
Shruti, who was impressed with the script has given her nod to the project. The project is tentatively titled Vijay 58 and is produced by Vijay's PRO P.T.Selvakumar and Shibu of 'Thameens Films'. While Kiccha Sudeep would be playing the antagonist, Hansika Motwani is expected to play the second female lead.
