Surya keen on Trivikram
Kollywood hero Surya's fan base is not just confined to Tamil Nadu as the actor is quite popular in neighboring states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala as well. Almost all his films were dubbed into Telugu and evoked tremendous response at the box-office.
Recently, Surya has evinced his interest to act in a straight Telugu film and said he is looking for a good script. As soon as the announcement was made, several film makers have rushed to the actor with their stories and offered to direct this film.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that Surya has expressed his desire to work in Trivikram Srinivas's direction and sources say the actor is already holding talks with the maverick director.
Gnanavel Raja, a close buddy and producer of Surya's Telugu film, has recently approached Trivikram and offered him a film to direct Surya. However, Trivikram, who is currently busy scripting his new film featuring Allu Arjun and Samantha, is yet to give his consent.
A little birdie from film-nagar says that after Allu Arjun's film, Trivikram will be directing either Mahesh Babu or Pawan Kalyan and chances for him to wield the megaphone for Surya's film are very low. It's interesting to see who Trivikram will prefer for his next!
