NTR kicks off the Pongal race
NTR Jr's new movie in the direction of Puri Jagannath was launched on Friday at the latter's swanky office Cave. The event was a low key affair with only the unit of the team attending it.
NTR has sounded the clap board, while Puri has directed the first shot for this film that is tipped to an action entertainer. Produced by Bandla Ganesh the film also features Kajal Aggarwal alongside NTR as the leading lady.
Speaking at the launch Bandla Ganesh says, 'This is for the second time I'm working with NTR and Puri Jagannath.
It's going to be a different film that will be laced with all the commercial elements. Puri has come up with an exciting subject and I'm sure it will be a delight for NTR fans to see him in this new avatar.
We are going to start an uninterrupted schedule from today and planning to release the film on January 9 for Pongal. Needless to say this film is very prestigious and special to me.' Prakash Raj, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Tanikella Bharani, Ali, Posani Krishna Murali, Madhurima Banerjee are playing pivotal roles in this yet to be titled film that has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
