Meenakshi thrilled with AKV
Meenakshi Dixit, who shot to fame with Devaraya, Dookudu and Baadshah has turned leading lady with Adavi Kachina Vennela (AKV). The actress is all set to test her luck and prove her mettle as the female lead in this action-adventure that is being helmed by debutante Akki Vishwanath Reddy. The film that was released on Friday also has Arvind Krishna, Rishi and Pooja Ramachandran in lead roles.
Reportedly, Meenakshi will be seen as Vennela - an aspiring Olympic shooter in the film and the actress is thrilled to portray such a role at an early stage of her career.
'I'm on cloud 9 and have no words to express how I'm feeling now. I liked my role personally and I'm keeping my fingers crossed to see the response of the audience,' says Meenakshi. Further, she is hoping that this film will revive her fortunes at the box-office and cements her place as one of the most sought after ladies of the tinsel town.
