Big dam set erected for Lingaa After the dismal show of Vikrama Simha, Rajinikanth has fastened his seat belts and working neck and crop for his upcoming film Lingaa. Going by the buzz, the actor is leaving no stone unturned to make the film nothing short of a blockbuster.
Recently, the Hyderabad schedule of the film was wrapped up and the unit is now heading to Shimoga to shoot the climax episodes of the film on August 18.
Sources say the unit is building Lord Shiva statue and a dam set to film the climax sequences. Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka are playing the love interest of Rajinikanth in this action entertainer that spans across two generations.
Rajini will be seen as an engineer and a diamond thief in this film that is helmed by KS Ravi Kumar. AR Rahman is scoring the music and the makers are planning to release the film in December coinciding with Rajinikanth's birthday.
