Krishnavamsi turns emotional
Krishna Vamsi is often regarded as the most creative and eccentric director that Tollywood can boast of. His typical body language and attitude has kept him apart from the bunch of other directors. But director like Krishna Vamsi burst out publicly and got emotional in public.
Mega Power Star Ram Charan's upcoming film 'Govindhudu Andarivadele's teaser launch function was held at Rama Naidu Studios at Nanakram Guda yesterday and while speaking at the event KV turned emotional.
He said, when he was depressed and fed up with life, Chiru and Ram Charan pumped life into him. In a tearful revelation, he stressed that Megastar Chiranjeevi helped him recover, as always, offering him Govindudu Andarivadele without even asking the story. He also added that if he was alive today and back in action, it is purely because of the warmth Charan and Chiranjeevi offered.
Krishna Vamsi said, 'People talk about this movie for next 50 years. The content of the movie made me giving this statement but not my arrogance. I have been facing comments and criticisms for the past 4 years.
At one stage, I was in a sheer dilemma whether to live or to die. Finally, I got this opportunity due to Ram Charan. He has tonnes of good manners and modesty in him. Never ever has he crossed his limits."
KV who was known for cut classics like Anthapuram; Ninne Pelladutha; Khadgam is running througg a bad patch in his career with a series of flops from few years. It is quite unfortunate that cine-biggies have looked him down and neglected his presence.
Hope Govindudu Andarivadele will work big time for him. Well in this season, we saw two directors turning emotional in public events - Santosh Srinvas in Rabhasa audio release held recently and now Krishna Vamsi.
