Srikanth as Jalsarayudu
Actor Srikanth who in recent times has been relegated to doing prominent roles in multi-starrers has signed another film as a 'solo hero'.
The movie will be directed by Sudhir Raju and is being produced by debutant Venkatesh Kolan on the banner 'Venkata Ramana Movies'. The shooting of the movie will commence on August 14 at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad and the movie is titled Jalsarayudu.
Sudhir Raju has earlier directed the movie Rey Rey. 'Srikanth has an image of a family hero. But in this movie his characterization will appeal to all sections of the audience. I am happy that Srikanth liked the script and agreed to do the movie.
This is the first movie for me as a producer and I am hope that Jalsarayudu will get good appreciation,' said producer Venkat.
'The title Jalsarayudu will connect well with the audience. We have prepared a good story and screenplay. Esther of Bhimavaram Bullodu fame is one of the heroines in this movie.
There are all commercial ingredients in the script. Chakri is giving the music for this film. We are making this film with senior artistes and top-notch technicians. We will reveal the complete details soon,' said director Sudhir Raju.
