Record price for Baahubali in Overseas Rajamouli's magnum opus is getting bigger day by day. Never has any film in the history of Tollywood, got such a hype and hysteria. Ever since its inception, Baahubali is making waves in the tinsel town.

We have already reported that Karnataka and Ceded distribution rights of Baahubali 1 were sold for a whopping amount of 9 and 13 crores respectively. Distribution rights for the Naizam area has been bagged by Dil Raju for 25 crores.
The latest buzz in the film is that its distribution rights for overseas have been sold for whopping price of Rs 9 crores. This is another record for 'Baahubali' team as no other film was bought with such a high rate till date in overseas.
As per the latest reports, its budget has reached Rs 165 crores, the highest ever amount for a Telugu film. 'Baahubali' team is strategically selling only the distribution rights of the first part as they are very confident that the film will earn more than what the makers and distributors have spent.
Makers of Baahubali want to open the distribution rights of the second part only after the release of first part and this shows the confidence of the producers on the film.
With the brand of Rajamouli, it's no surprise that the exhibitors will come forward to release the film believing that the audience will flock to the theatres as the film is expected to re-write the existing records of Tollywood box-office. Shooting of the film is currently on in Hyderabad, and the movie is slated to release in two parts.
