Chaitu keen to act in Tamil The success of Manam has come as a fresh lease of life to actor Naga Chaithanya although his subsequent release, Autonagar Surya disappointed at the box-office. The actor is now awaiting the release of his movie, Oka Laila Kosam.
Naga Chaithanya recently expressed his intention of working in Tamil. Having been brought up in Chennai, the actor is quite familiar with the language and said that he was also meeting a few directors.
However, to date, nothing substantial has worked out. 'I have been listening to a few scripts, but nothing that has excited me enough to take the plunge,' said Naga Chaithanya.
Given that he has a market in Telugu; it is a certainty that all his films in Tamil would automatically be bi-lingual projects. Naga Chaithanya will start shooting next week for another untitled Telugu film. The project will be directed by Sudhir Varma and has Kriti Sanon of 1-Nenokkadine fame as his leading lady.
