Nikhil's Surya vs Surya
This is the title of actor Nikhil's next film, the shooting of which commenced in Hyderabad recently. The actor is currently awaiting the release of his thriller, Karthikeya.
Karthik Ghattamaneni, who worked as the cinematographer for Karthikeya and Prema Ishq Kadhal, will be making his debut as director with Surya vs Surya. Malkapauram Siva Kumar is producing the movie on his banner, 'Suraksh Entertainment India Private Limited'.
'Swami Ra Ra and Karthikeya showcased Nikhil in a different way. Similarly, Surya vs Surya will also be a different film for Nikhil. It will be a complete entertainer,' said producer Siva Kumar.
Tanikella Bharani and Satya are the other prominent artistes in the film. Satya is the music composer for the film and Gowtham the editor. Ram Jogayya Sastry has given the lyrics for the movie.
The leading lady of the film is yet to be finalised. Swami Ra Ra was the first big commercial success for Nikhil and since then, the actor has been very choosy in his selection of scripts.
